Speedball
Speedball is a team sport using the basic skills of football, soccer, and basketball. There are 3 different ways to score in this game. A player can throw a touchdown, score a basket, or score a goal.
Each team has 6 players on the floor at one time.
-There are 2 forwards, 2 defenders, one midfielder, and one goalie for each team.
-Forwards can't cross over to the defensive half of the court, and the defenders can't cross to the offensive half of the court.
Scoring
Touchdowns are worth 1 point,
Soccer goals are worth 2 points.
Baskets are worth 3 points.
Moving the Ball
1. Dribbling the ball with your feet.
2. Kicking the ball in the air to yourself or a teammate.
3. Passing the ball through the air with your hands.
*If you have the ball in your hands you can pivot, but you can't move both feet
Penalties Where the Other Team Gets the Ball
-Offense in the goalie box
-Touching a ground ball
-Traveling with the ball
Penalty Kick for:
-Unnecessary Roughness
-Defense in the Goalie Box
Extras
A ball must be thrown into the endzone to be a touchdown. A player can't kick it into the endzone to a teammate for a touchdown.
When you are on defense, you have to be 2 steps back from a player if they are holding the ball and pivoting.
If you are holding the ball and can't find anyone open, you can drop the ball and begin soccer.
A player can't shoot a ball at the basket inside of the basketball lane.
You are allowed to bounce a ball off the wall and catch it to begin passing it through the air.
